These Terms of Service govern the use of the Rameshchandra Himmatlal website and the online services made available by Soni Rameshchandra Himmatlal & Bros (“Rameshchandra Himmatlal”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing or using this website, submitting an enquiry or placing an online booking, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies referred to on this website.
1. Purpose of the Website
The Rameshchandra Himmatlal website primarily serves as an online catalogue through which customers can:
- browse jewellery designs;
- view indicative jewellery values;
- view current gold and silver rates;
- use the jewellery rate calculator;
- check whether selected designs are available for booking;
- reserve eligible jewellery pieces;
- enquire about unavailable or custom jewellery;
- contact Rameshchandra Himmatlal; and
- plan a visit to our Mumbai store.
Except for the online booking amount, the website is not presently intended to complete the full sale and delivery of jewellery online.
2. ₹500 Online Booking
Certain available jewellery designs may be reserved by paying a ₹500 booking amount.
The booking amount is not the full jewellery purchase price.
Following a successful booking, a member of the Rameshchandra Himmatlal team will contact the customer to confirm the reservation and coordinate the next steps.
If the customer purchases the jewellery, the ₹500 booking amount will be adjusted against the final store bill.
Cancellation and refund of the booking amount are governed by our Booking & Reservation Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
3. Indicative Jewellery Values
Any jewellery value displayed on the website is an estimate for reference purposes.
An estimate may be calculated using information such as:
- metal rate;
- purity;
- estimated or recorded net metal weight;
- making charges;
- stone or additional material value;
- other applicable charges; and
- taxes where selected or included.
An online estimate does not constitute a final quotation, invoice or guaranteed selling price.
4. Final Price
The final jewellery price will be determined when the purchase is completed and may depend on:
- prevailing gold or silver rate;
- actual final weight;
- purity;
- making charges;
- diamonds, stones or other materials;
- customisation;
- applicable taxes; and
- other applicable charges.
The final invoice issued by Rameshchandra Himmatlal will prevail over any value or estimate displayed on the website.
5. Gold and Silver Rates
Gold and silver rates displayed on the website may be updated from time to time.
Unless Rameshchandra Himmatlal expressly confirms otherwise, viewing a rate or booking a jewellery design does not lock or guarantee that metal rate for the final purchase.
The applicable rate used for the final transaction will be communicated at the time of billing.
6. Product Availability
Product availability shown on the website may change.
A design displayed as available may become unavailable following a reservation, store sale, inventory adjustment or other transaction.
Rameshchandra Himmatlal will make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate availability information but online availability remains subject to final confirmation.
7. Product Images and Information
We endeavour to display jewellery photographs, specifications and information as accurately as reasonably possible.
However, photographs and screen displays may not perfectly represent actual colour, scale, finish, stone appearance or dimensions.
Handcrafted jewellery may also contain reasonable variations arising from the nature of jewellery production and finishing.
8. Custom and Recreated Jewellery
Customers may enquire about recreating, modifying or customising jewellery designs.
Acceptance of a custom order is subject to:
- design feasibility;
- material availability;
- stone availability;
- agreed specifications;
- sizing;
- estimated and final weight;
- applicable metal rates;
- making charges;
- production timelines; and
- confirmation by Rameshchandra Himmatlal.
A custom or recreated piece is not guaranteed to have exactly the same weight, appearance or price as a reference photograph or previously manufactured piece.
9. Completion of Purchase
The final jewellery transaction is completed with Rameshchandra Himmatlal at the store.
Customers should review the final jewellery details, price and invoice before completing their purchase.
10. Exchanges
Completed jewellery purchases are subject to the Return & Refund Policy.
Where an exchange is accepted, valuation will be based on the applicable gold value assessed by Rameshchandra Himmatlal at the time of exchange.
11. Customer Information
Customers must provide information that is reasonably accurate and sufficient for Rameshchandra Himmatlal to contact them regarding bookings and enquiries.
Our handling of personal information is governed by the Privacy Policy published on this website.
12. Permitted Use
