Booking & Reservation Policy

This Booking & Reservation Policy applies to jewellery reservations made through the Rameshchandra Himmatlal website operated by Soni Rameshchandra Himmatlal & Bros.

1. Booking Amount

A nominal amount of ₹500 is charged online to reserve an available jewellery design displayed on the Rameshchandra Himmatlal website.

The ₹500 payment is a booking/reservation amount only and is not the full purchase price of the jewellery.

The final purchase and billing of the jewellery will be completed separately with Rameshchandra Himmatlal.

2. Estimated Jewellery Value

The jewellery value displayed on the website is an indicative estimate calculated using information associated with the product, which may include:

• prevailing gold or silver rate;
• metal purity;
• net metal weight;
• making charges;
• stone or additional material value;
• other applicable charges; and
• applicable taxes, where included.

The website estimate is provided for reference purposes only and should not be treated as the final invoice value.

3. Final Jewellery Price

The final price payable for the jewellery will be determined at the time of final billing based on the actual applicable details, including:

• prevailing gold or silver rate;
• actual final weight;
• purity;
• making charges;
• diamond, stone or other material value;
• customisation, if any;
• applicable taxes; and
• any other charges applicable to the particular jewellery piece.

Accordingly, the final price may be higher or lower than the indicative value displayed on the website.

The final invoice issued by Rameshchandra Himmatlal will prevail over the estimated value displayed online.

4. Reservation of an Available Jewellery Piece

A jewellery piece displayed as available to book may be reserved online by paying the ₹500 booking amount.

Once a successful booking is completed, that available piece may become unavailable for further online reservations.

A successful online booking does not represent payment of the complete jewellery value.

5. Confirmation After Booking

After a booking is successfully placed, a member of the Rameshchandra Himmatlal team will contact the customer using the contact details provided with the booking.

The team may contact the customer to:

• confirm the reservation;
• discuss the selected jewellery piece;
• answer product-related questions;
• coordinate the customer's store visit;
• discuss any required customisation; and
• explain the next steps for completing the purchase.

Customers should therefore provide a valid and reachable telephone number while placing the booking.

6. Adjustment of the ₹500 Booking Amount

When the customer proceeds with the purchase of the reserved jewellery, the ₹500 booking amount will be adjusted against the final jewellery bill.

For example, if the final bill for the jewellery is ₹1,50,000 and ₹500 has already been paid as the booking amount, the booking amount will be taken into account while settling the final amount payable.

7. Cancellation and Refund

If, due to an unavoidable reason, the customer is unable to proceed with the booking, the customer may contact Rameshchandra Himmatlal and request cancellation of the reservation.

After the cancellation is communicated and confirmed with the Rameshchandra Himmatlalteam, the ₹500 booking amount will be refunded at the Rameshchandra Himmatlal store.

Where the customer proceeds with the purchase instead of cancelling, the booking amount will be adjusted against the final jewellery bill as described above.

8. Unavailable Designs and Custom Orders

A design shown as unavailable on the website may no longer be available as the exact ready piece originally displayed.

However, customers may contact Rameshchandra Himmatlal to enquire about:

• recreating a similar design;
• modifying an existing design;
• changing the metal or purity;
• changing stones or other materials;
• adjusting size, weight or specifications; or
• creating a custom piece inspired by the displayed design.

Custom orders are subject to:

• technical feasibility;
• material and stone availability;
• agreed specifications;
• applicable metal rates;
• estimated weight;
• making charges;
• production timelines; and
• final confirmation by Rameshchandra Himmatlal.

An unavailable product displayed on the website therefore does not guarantee that an identical piece can be recreated at the same weight, price or specification.

9. Gold, Silver and Jewellery Rates

Gold and silver rates displayed on the website may be updated periodically by Rameshchandra Himmatlal.

The rate displayed while browsing or booking a design does not permanently lock the metal rate for the final jewellery purchase unless specifically confirmed by Rameshchandra Himmatlal.

The applicable metal rate used for final billing will be communicated and reflected in the final invoice.

10. Product Details and Variations

Jewellery is subject to normal variations arising from craftsmanship, finishing, stones, dimensions, weight and production.

For custom-made or recreated jewellery in particular, the completed piece may have reasonable variations from photographs, reference designs or indicative specifications displayed on the website.

Final weight and related pricing will be determined from the completed jewellery piece.

11. Store Visit and Completion of Purchase

Customers may visit Rameshchandra Himmatlal to view jewellery, complete a booked purchase, discuss customisation or request a custom design.
